Minimalist, no nonsense barbershop relying on his skills more than fancy gimics.The first haircut was ok, my hair was too short to do much, but he prepped it well enough that 2 weeks later it grew in well.The second haircut was perfect. It grew in well too and I got non-stop compliments from strangers, so super happy with it.Went back for my third haircut, we had a really bad miscommunication. My fault, his fault, not sure, but was not close to what I wanted, ended up shaving my head back down. I called him out on it, but was too late, so he tried his best to fix and style it, still took time. So I felt bad offered to pay, he refused. I insisted, he still refused payment. For all he knew I may never return, but yet he was willing to forgo revenue for something that wasnt clearly attributable only to him. How many small businesses would do that??So in light of my last experience not only can I say that I was previously coming into it with a good impression, but that this gentleman went above and beyond, deserves not only my business but I would recommend him to anyone else looking for a barber.
