I had spent the previous day driving 8 hours through a snowstorm in New Brunswick on my way back to Ottawa. Ice and Snow had completely covered my front grill, radiator, and hood release mechanism. Today, I tried to open the hood of my car to add windshield washer fluid and it was stuck! I was in a panic because there were almost no mechanics open on a Saturday.
