My son (9) has always been a patient of HRD and had always had really positive experiences at the clinic. Recently, he had some unexplained anxiety about getting a tooth fixed though & it took me totally off guard!! The dental assistant and dentist were so good with him, and tried their best to ease his mind/concerns. Unfortunately, it became evident that nothing could be said/done during that appt. I truly appreciated their patience/understanding, and their advice to wait to rebook until he was ready to go back. Sure enough, he came around & asked to go back a few weeks later to have his tooth fixed!
I really hope this review will be helpful for anyone looking for a new dental clinic … especially for anyone that may themselves (or their child) suffer from anxiety about going to the dentist. As a child, I had a horrible experience with a dentist (in another province) and would never want my own child to have to go through that… so I’ve been especially grateful for the positive experiences we’ve had HRD, and how they dealt with my son’s unexpected anxiety with such patience & compassion. It makes all the difference in the world!!
