About Wildlife Works, Inc
Wildlife Works, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of wounded or orphaned wild animals. They do not accept domestic animals or rabies-vector animals. The office is staffed from 10 AM to 2 PM, Monday through Friday, but they answer calls after hours as often as possible. Volunteers are on the premises from 10 AM to 10 PM every day. Appointments are required before bringing any animal to their facility. The organization has received positive reviews from those who have utilized their services. Reviewers have praised the friendly, knowledgeable, and caring volunteers who provide top-notch medical care to the animals in their care. One reviewer was able to drop off a sick bird after hours and was pleasantly surprised to receive a quick return call. Another reviewer was able to bring in an injured opossum and her babies, who received excellent care and were later released back into their familiar surroundings. While donations are strongly encouraged, nothing is required at drop-off. The organization also hosts an open house event, which a reviewer expressed interest in attending. Overall, Wildlife Works, Inc. is highly regarded for their dedication to the rehabilitation of injured wildlife and their commitment to providing compassionate care to the animals in their charge.
I called about a juvenile tundra swan that appeared injured and sitting in our field. Rebecca came right out and like a magical princess gathered it into her arms and took it away for examination and rehabilitation if possible. I will be making a donation today! Thank you to Rebecca and all the caring volunteers!!
