In all of my 43 years of life, this was by far THE BEST haircut I have ever had. I love the way Carmela cut my curly hair. Her chair side manner / customer service was top notch. Bernadette, the owner, was incredibly friendly as well. Before cutting my hair, Carmela and I discussed what I did and did not want my hair to look like. She cut my hair dry to make sure she removed all my split ends all while maintaining as much length as possible. She clarified my hair and conditioned it..Afterward, I received a B3 treatment and had my hair steamed. It was incredibly relaxing and wonderful to be pampered. I felt like I was at a spa. There was an immediate improvement in the way my hair felt. She then styled my hair using gel. Carmela went over the proper technique and products to apply in order to maximize curl definition and make frizz practically nonexistent. She defused my hair and BAM!!! My hair went from dull, lifeless and frizzy, to curls that are truly a thing of beauty. The haircut and styling methods were excellent, but the way I was treated by both of them was unlike any salon experience I had ever had before. Don’t walk, Run to get your hair done at this salon. . The service they provide is worth every single penny. They set the bar high and I’m never going to go anywhere else for my haircuts. Period! Thank you Carmela.
