“Without a doubt, best nail salon I have ever been to. I have been looking for a salon that can do Japanese nail designs and this salon does them perfectly. Not only that, all of the basic manicuring services were on point. My old gel was filed off perfectly without damaging the nail bed, there was no pain at any point, and the manicuring was quick and efficient. This is the happiest I have ever been with my nails. I could not find a salon like this in San Francisco so I was really thrilled to find such a skilled salon in Philadelphia. I might fly back here just to get my nails done“

“I've had multiple keratin treatments at different salons, the last time was in the fall. After first wash, I still had to run straightening iron through it:(. I don't know what kind of magic wand Fatima used on Wednesday, but I just washed my hair and it's totally straight, soft and no frizz! Best treatment ever. She gave me a great new customer deal. “my favorite nail salon EVER! i found them right before my wedding and their reviews were stellar so i was excited to go to them. six of us went and had the best experience. since then, i have only had my appointments here. they are personable, kind, always remember you and always care to ask for updates on life since the last time they saw you. their work is impeccable and you can tell they love what they do. prices are amazing, that and the service would make me turn my head to any other nail salon. my shape of my nails is always perfect, the options are great, and the salon is so comfy vibe-wise. i love it here!!!“

“I recently visited Glam Hair Studio in Spring House, PA, after hearing they are using a new organic hair coloring formula. I was curious to try it out because I am concerned about the chemicals in regular hair coloring formulas and their potential impact on my overall health. I was also curious if the new organic coloring formula would cover my gray hair and last as long as the regular formula (stay tuned for an update about how long it lasts).

My appointment was with the owner, Denni. I am so excited to report that the organic hair coloring formula not only covered my gray hair but also lacked the strong smell and burning sensation of regular chemical coloring formulas. In addition, if you have a hard time deciding on what color to go with, Denni is a professional at helping pick out the appropriate colors to complement your skin tone.

“Overall, I had a pleasant experience at the salon; however, I need to note that the pricing felt unclear. The experience could be improved with more transparency.

I received an acrylic fill with gel polish and a trim down. On the website, the only pricing I could find was that a fill costs $35. I assumed a trim would be around $10–$15.

When it came time to pay, my total was $65. While this isn’t outrageous, it was not what was posted online—there was no information about trim or gel polish pricing. When I asked about the charge, I was told it included the acrylic fill, gel polish, and trim. I have never been charged separately for gel polish when getting a fill at other salons, so I was a bit surprised.

Again, I don’t consider the price excessive, but clearer pricing transparency would make the overall experience much better. I highly recommend calling ahead, explaining what you want, and verifying the price before your appointment.

Aside from the pricing confusion, the experience wasn’t bad — not super luxurious, but it was a good manicure overall.“
