Appeared to have a good selection of vinyl and CDs but unfortunately I wasn't able to really look around for very long. I had to use restroom (45 minutes drive and small bladder LOL) and unfortunately this place doesn't have public restrooms and neither did the gas station or Rite aid across the street. So had to cut visit short. There was street parking available. I will caution people who have mobility issues that there are about five steps to get into building and I didn't see handicap accessible access so please keep that in mind.
I've visited numerous record stores in Berks County, and as a punk and hardcore snob this is the best. Some extremely rare finds that you won't get anywhere else. Anytime I come here I never leave disappointed. The pricing is also incredibly reasonable.
Ok so it was a tough time for me financially.
I took my albums into vertigo records hoping I could cover my rent.
The owner made me an offer and I evidently had a pretty unrealistic idea what my used records were actually worth. So I politely declined and left with my records.
After visiting two more stores I learned that vertigos offer wasn't only realistic , it was flat out generous.
So now I had to go back hat in hand and hope she was still willing to work with me and believe me I was pretty uncomfortable after wasting two days of her time grading my collection
