“We are very happy with the new roof installed on our house. During the removal of the old roof, it was discovered that a lot of the decking was in very bad condition. The crew had to replace over 21 sheets. Many of them requiring to be cut at multiple angles due to the octagon shape of the one end of the roof. Marty from Red Cedar gave us a reasonable cost for the additional materials and labor for these needed repairs. This additional work caused the crew to work a 12+ hour day. The crew stuck at it and completed the roof in one day. The only thing that could have been done better is sweeping the yard with the magnets to collect nails. I had asked the company that had put up my gutters for a quote on leaf guards and with a straight face they informed us that our gutters were sagging and had standing water because the gutters were not sloped towards the downspouts, then gave us a several thousand-dollar repair and guard installation quote.
