Our family have been training with Empty Hand for over 10 years. They are family owned and family run karate studio. Excellent instruction with each instructor focusing on different skill sets but also all follow overall consistency of Shotokan Karate.

One of my students trains there a few times a month and I could not be more encouraging. He is a highly regarded competitor that enjoys training with other highly regarded competitors. Not only are they all very, very good and truly enjoy the Shotokan process, they are extremely pleasant to be around. I have the honor of knowing the entire family. What's more remarkable is that my student lives near me in northwest Philadelphia and his dad makes the trek without batting an eye.
