I have been with KnownHost since 2018. It's time for renewal and all support is offered for a $550+ plan. The sales/billing staff is awful. I'm looking for a new web host and advise potential customers to look elsewhere.

Be careful my server got hacked 2x and they won't admit to it, Fist time my web site stopped working. The second time they lost all my back up in my Plesk was totally emptied. and they will not admit to. They have a No Refund Policy.

You can never be 100% sure what you're getting when buying a web hosting plan. Lots of reviews, spreadsheets and charts with technical details online don't help much - many of them are paid. Still, relied on a review I found online and no regrets! I have been a customer for some 14 months now and I'm totally satisfied. Moved here from Hostgator shared hosting plan after my first term promo plan (3 years) had ended and their much higher renewal rates kicked in. Moving sites is no fun but I did move a bunch of sites from one host to another. VPS hosting plans start from $28 per month. No ripping off after the 1st promo period - you pay the same rates all the time (unless you upgrade to a higher plan yourself). There were issues down the road but they all were resolved by the support team which goes far beyond expectations. No phone or chat support but you always get a reply by email in a few minutes (or even seconds in case of critical issues) - 24/7/365. Knownhost offers several servers in the US and one in Europe. Highly recommended.
