About Walmart Supercenter
Walmart Supercenter is a grocery store that offers online ordering with same-day delivery for Walmart+ members. They have a wide range of products, including fresh organic produce, and accept SNAP EBT cards. The store regularly adds new products from small and new businesses. Walmart Supercenter provides express pickup for a fee and free pickup for Walmart+ members. Associates handpick online orders, and the store will load groceries into customers' cars. The app allows customers to check in and be notified when their order is ready. The staff are always nice. Some customers have reported poor quality organic produce, finding moldy and slimy items in packages. The store has a wide range of products, but sometimes the shelves are empty, especially in the grocery section. It depends on the day and the item whether or not a product will be found. The overall shopping experience offers competitive prices and an efficient checkout process.
The "organic" produce is poor quality. Twice we found moldy, slimy produce in the packages. Another time a customer had to point out to the associate that the organic ginger was moldy. To her credit the associate removed them from the shelf.
The staff are always nice, but... I've lost count of how many times I've wanted an item (especially in the grocery section) and there was nothing on the shelf. Not just the item I came in for, but the entire shelf was empty. This happened even before COVID.
Also, I wish they'd 1) stick with a decision as to where they want things to be located, and 2) for Walmarts in general, use the same floorplan. So many Walmarts, so many different floorplans!
Sometimes they have exactly what I am looking for, sometimes the shelves are empty. It really depends on the day and item in question whether or not I will be able to find it here. There have also been a lot of complaints from people being followed in the store which has nothing to do with walmart but please be careful and take note of your surroundings.
