About Delaware Valley Residential Care
Delaware Valley Residential Care (DVRC) is a community-focused facility that aims to provide a comfortable living environment for its residents. Most residents report positive experiences, noting the kindness and caring nature of the staff. Communication with family members is generally prompt, and many appreciate the efforts made to ensure safety and well-being, especially during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, some concerns have been raised regarding the need for more proactive nursing follow-ups and improved safety measures in residents' rooms, such as pull cords. While improvements have been noted since the facility's inception, residents and families believe there is still room for enhancement. Overall, DVRC is recognized for its hard-working team, dedicated to supporting both residents and employees.
I am currently a resident here at DVRC. Iām happy for the most part but their are two issues I am concerned with. Nursing needs to be more pro-active with follow up appointments for their residents. I realize that this is hard because we are a big community and there are only so many nurses on staff but this issue needs to be made a top priority. Also safety systems need to be implemented in each residents rooms such as pull cords . There were several incidents where the residents have fallen and laid in their waste. Until the next morning. Things have definitely improved here since I made DVRC my home but there is always room for improvement.
