I've been to this location of Dive twice, and both times I have been really impressed by the food! There is the traditional bar fare, with a few twists: fried pickles (yum), pretzels with beer cheese (double yum), and nachos (add the pulled pork BBQ for a triple yum situation). But what I find most interesting about Dive is how their menu branches out from that traditional bar food into other items like crab cake sandwiches and the Thai beef salad. This is usually a go to place for me because it's close to my work. Their menu is quite large and it's always a consistent taste. They usually have a rotating tap of speciality beers, worth a stop.
The Southside is always a great time. Dive Bar had good pub food and a great atmosphere. My wife is a vegetarian and they had a very good selection for her. I have to stop at anyplace that the name is Dive Bar and Grill. Recommended.
