I saw the nicest, most patient eye doctor. The people at the front of the store were great and nobody pushed me to buy anything I didn't need (I was only getting contacts.) They also had an appointment available way earlier than other places (same week vsm next month) and they took my non-UPMC insurance.

Last Saturday I visited Target Optical at South Hills Village and received outstanding service from Dan that went above and beyond my expectations! I will definitely return here for my eye care needs in the future! A BIG thank you for truly excellent customer service!

The optometrist, Dr. Hartsock, is super kind and personable. I am usually anxious during eye exams, but he explained everything he did and made me feel very comfortable.
I’m knocking off one star because the front desk is so understaffed. When I arrived, there were two workers and neither could acknowledge me because of how busy they were. Simultaneously, they were taking glasses measurements, running insurance, answering the phone, checking me in, checking people out, helping them pick out glasses, and everything else.
