About Shear Design

Shear Design is a down to earth salon known for great haircuts and creative color. The stylists are welcoming, comforting, and patient, listening carefully to requests. The owner is very personable. Appointments can often be made quickly, sometimes even the next day. The salon features shampoo bowls that are nice and high for comfort. While a nail service had a complaint about durability, the overall experience is highly recommended for hair services.

This salon is very down to earth! Katie is my hairstylist now for a year or so. She is very welcoming and comforting. Which is great if you have ever had salon anxiety! She does amazing work, I always leave loving my haircut and brows!

Got an appointment the very next day! Katie was great and listened to my requests rather than doing what she wanted, as many hair pro's seem to do for some reason.I have to say that when I called for pricing, I was not told that a wash was extra. I always thought a cut included the wash and style! Oh well. I do appreciate their shampoo bowls tho. Nice and high so those of us with bad backs don't have to struggle. Great experience, will return!

Sarah drake is amazing with hair. Another girl did my daughter's nails. They looked nice but fell off after 5 days. That's my only big complaint. I'll still comeback for haircuts!
