“I recently visited Glam Hair Studio in Spring House, PA, after hearing they are using a new organic hair coloring formula. I was curious to try it out because I am concerned about the chemicals in regular hair coloring formulas and their potential impact on my overall health. I was also curious if the new organic coloring formula would cover my gray hair and last as long as the regular formula (stay tuned for an update about how long it lasts).

My appointment was with the owner, Denni. I am so excited to report that the organic hair coloring formula not only covered my gray hair but also lacked the strong smell and burning sensation of regular chemical coloring formulas. In addition, if you have a hard time deciding on what color to go with, Denni is a professional at helping pick out the appropriate colors to complement your skin tone.

“This was my first time at nails by sunshine and they got me booked super fast! I originally came for a dip manicure and they asked if I wanted a pedicure after and fit me in right after my nails were completed. Very thorough, neat, and timely!“

“I have been going to this nail salon for years. Even when I moved out of the area I would try to fit in a nail appointment if I was in town. They do the best quality dip manicure that you can find. Sarah and Gin take their time to ensure they apply the dip in a way that will last. Also, they are very good at ombre and designs, so if you want something for a special occasion they can make it happen. Try to make an appointment before you go as they are usually pretty busy, but they take walk ins. Everyone who I know will not trust anyone else with their manicure!“

“My stylist moved out of the area a few years ago. I tried several new stylists but could not find one that actually could give me the cut I was looking for despite pictures and an explanation. After the last cut I decided I'd just let it grow, wear it in a clip and gave up looking for another hairdresser. Many months later my hair got so long and was becoming unmanageable. I decided I'd try one more time. I looked online again and found Duanes. When I went in I met Marie who listened to what I wanted and for the first time in years I got a beautiful haircut! “I booked an appointment wanting a fresh summer/fall cut on 8/6/2025. I was having a tough day, my whole morning was thrown off and my planned childcare had fallen through. By the time my appointment time came around, I was debating canceling, but ultimately decided to go with my two girls (ages 6 and 3) in tow.

I walked in and was greeted by Savannah and Diana. They were so incredibly nice and welcoming I felt like I was visiting a friend’s house. I should note my daughters are pretty well behaved but that being said they are kids and like all kids take up space.

The atmosphere of the salon is very welcoming. It is clean and charming inside. The conversations came naturally and there was no awkward feelings of forced conversation. Like I stated above, it was as if I was visiting a friend’s house who just so happens to cut hair.

I ended up getting about 6 inches cut off, which makes my hair so much lighter feeling, and Savannah did amazing. I absolutely love it. My girls also ended up getting trims as well and they look adorable. Savannah did an amazing job and made us all feel comfortable and relaxed.

We all left the salon feeling like our day was turned around. Thanks to a haircut and Diana and Savannah.

Price wise I would say they are fair. I’m not positive what the breakdown is but for one adult woman’s hair cut and two children haircuts with wash and dry it was $80 which from what I am use to paying going into Philly for a haircut is a deal.
