This is a wonderful dental office! I took my son for his first visit and I had X-rays for myself as well. The receptionist was wonderful with him. She set the TV for him and talked to him for about ten minutes when he was tired of watching me sit in the chair. She was so nice about the whole situation and was so kind to him. His hygienist was also so sweet and answered his hundreds of questions and concerns about the visit. As far as myself, I appreciate how helpful every staff member is. I had great experience here! My situation is actually quite similar to the negative reviews. I didn’t have any cavities when I was little, but they told me I have 7 here. I don’t think it’s unreasonable because I haven’t seen a dentist for a while. Even though I don’t feel pain most of the time, but I know cavities won’t hurt until they are very bad. I am also able to see a few of them myself in front of the mirror. Dr. Swogger planned two appointments for me for the fillings. I had a conflict with my scheduled routine visit. When I called to reschedule, I anticipated having to push the preventative dentistry visit further. Fortunately, an opening for a slightly earlier app’t was available. The hygienist called me promptly, asked about my dental wellbeing, and briefly asked about family updates. This created a relaxed and patient centered atmosphere. She briefly outlined today’s care plan, & asked about potential issues as she prepared for the cleaning. It was clear the hygienist previewed my record, before greeting me. Check-out clerk was knowledgeable about insurance, reviewed subsequent appointment & care planning.
