The fundamental problem with this salon is its management; basically it has none. It is a group of stylists who each manage their own schedules. So if a stylist needs to cancel your appointment, you can be left for a month with no new reschedule and no one to help you out. In the past year, this has happened to me three times with Megan. I color and cut my hair every six weeks, but in summer, she takes a vacation, so I had to go nine weeks. In winter, she cancelled my appointment the day of, due to bad weather, and I had to go a full extra month without care. In Spring, her child was sick so she cancelled the day of my appointment, and never did try to reschedule. When I contacted her to ask for an appointment three weeks later, she was too busy. No one else in the salon covers for these cancellations, you are simply out of luck. I have now learned that I can go to Looks salon for the same cut, same color, same price and slightly better trained stylist, and they never just leave you at the last minute without care. It is a lousy business model, it leaves you stranded and unable to manage your hair care, and it makes clients angry.

A few weeks ago I called and left a voice message that I needed an appointment with Luc for roots and haircut. Luc reached out to me via text, we agreed on a time. Today I show up for my appointment and he said he only had me in for a cut not color, and he didn't have time to do both. What wonderful communication skills. Thanks for wasting my time!
