I'm so confused with what's happening on this google business page right now. I know walts was up for sale, did this new group buy this place or are they in Delta PA? Was his page hacked? Did they open another shop? Is walt simply trusting them with his customers? I cant do anything with this right now.

I am very picky about my hair. If I can't find a good barber I just do it myself. I have been cutting my own hair for years since my last barber retired. It can be time consuming so I have been wanting to find a new barber for awhile now. I moved to the red lion area and here is how my barber search went and how I can say Walts is absolutely my new barber shop. 1st try I go to a local well know barber in red lion. I leave said barber and end up going home and breaking out the clippers and correcting his mistakes. Went back to cutting my own hair for several weeks before trying another barber. 2nd try for another barber shop in the red lion area. Same thing I pay my money but not sure why because I end up going home and correcting it myself. Once again I take a couple weeks off from trying to find a new barber and just do it myself. 3 rd try was another barber in Dallastown right next to red lion. Same exact thing. How stupid is it that you have to go home and break out the clippers to fix what the professional just rushed on your head. 4th try I call Walts and set an appointment. I go in and got my haircut. I leave. Then I kept looking in the mirror saying damn I can't do it this good. Woohoo found my new barber. Finally after all the searching I found my new barber. The following week I was in a rush to get a haircut because I was flying out for vacation the next day. I called in and the guy whom cut my hair that sold me to come back was booked out. I had to go with the other barber there. This enfuriated my ocd. Literally over the last couple of years I have tried over 10 barbers in york and harrisburg when working and never ever was happy. Finally get the perfect haircut and now I have to accept change. Grrr. But I had to be on a plane the next morning so it was what it was. I leave and go home. Now I don't know how to explain this but both of these barbers have completely different styles of how to do a bald fade. So it was different. Different from the way I normally do it. But just as good. I honestly can't say which barber I like more so the plan is to just walk in and whomever is available is the style I'm leaving with 100% satisfied that day. Or I might start to try and get it to alternate each week so I get both styles. Wish I knew their names for this post but honestly doesn't matter because either of them will give you the best cut in red lion/ dtown are and from what I have found all of york also. One last thing. They are about $2 higher than most shops. But all of the other shops rushed my haircut and I would rather pay that extra $2 than to have to go home and fix what the "professional" didn't do right in the first place. I would say every barber shop I was in the chair for 10 to 15 minutes. Here it was about 30 minutes and very friendly and patient with shaving the edges, hot towels and all. Well worth the extra $2. You get what you pay for and don't be steered away from the price because here you are getting "your new barber" with either guy for sure.

I'm new to Maryland and live in the Perry Hall area and assumed I would not find an African American barber shop in this area. I ended up finding Walts on the Internet within ten miles from my location. I called an made an appointment which is not required but recommended.. The shop was clean the and the barbers all seemed professional. The atmosphere was nice with black and white photographs decor. My wait was very short I could have walked in because there was one chair open but I waited for Walt. The music played was neo soul no cussing or profane so it would be great to take kids. My haircut was excellent and I will be back again. I'm sure they could cut any hair type while I was there they had African American, Italian and purterican customers..
