This company put my family member and the patient in a very UNSAFE and SERIOUS situation. None of the caregivers have any training for something like this. This was a VERY SERIOUS situation!! The patient was so severely demented he ran out of the house on several occasions into traffic and always best care advised my family member (the employee) to NOT CALL THE POLICE!!! INSANITY!!! My family member was crying hysterically thinking the best thing to do was to call 911, she was RIGHT!! We had Always Best Care for several months for my mom and it was not a good experience. She had an aide walk out on her because she didn't want to perform her duties when asked to. Another walked out because she was asked not to use my mom's phone to make many personal phone calls while on duty. She had at least one item stolen from her home by aides, but no way to know which one. They couldn't fill the shifts, so their office assistant filled in for the aides. She wound up going back to her prior agency.
Always Best Care has been tremendous. The caregivers are well trained and very considerate. Thanks to my infirmity, I have unique care needs but ABC has been able to provide that care and even go above and beyond in their efforts to care for me. I don’t know what I would do without them. If you’re in need of care, this is the agency to call.
