We hired Capa builders for our whole home remodel. From our research and meeting with them and four other contractors, it was clear that Capa was the way to go. John and JC have a crew of terrific gentlemen who have seen it all. They took every problem our 100+ year old home could throw at them, and handled it with professionalism and confidence. This team was at the house, every day at or before 7am and worked hard all day long. Our house was gutted to the studs and rebuilt to perfection in 14 weeks - if you ask me nothing less than a miracle. We got so much more than we bargained for. John had to reconfigure our layout a few times to accomplish everything we wanted within our footprint, and he did it! We got everything we wanted in the space we had. In this market, it’s hard to shop for a house that’s perfect. I’m so thankful we found a contractor who could build perfection right where we are, and they did it in a way that was virtually stress and worry free - which is remarkable considering I am a top tier nervous wreck. Capa Builders replaced siding on my house after a storm destroyed one side. They took the damaged siding down and replaced it in 1 1/2 days.
We hired John and is crew to repair damage to our corner wall in our kitchen which was hit on the outside by a landscaper’s front end loader. John came out within a day to come and check out the extent of the damages externally and internally and walked us through his findings and plan for repair. His quote was very reasonable and explained there could be potential additional charge if there was to be structural damage to repair once wall was opened up… fortunately there was none. John came out with his men on the first day, the crew began work and throughout the day they were courteous, careful, friendly and answered any of our questions. Every day they cleaned up, explained what was done and what the next days work would be and when they would arrive. Once the job was completed, John again came to check on the work done to make sure it was done satisfactorily and to make sure that we were pleased. Each and every step of this project from John’s initial visit to his final review of the work, was pleasant, professional and all of his workers were top notch!! We would use CAPA Builders again and I would highly recommend John Capaldo and CAPA Builders!! Susan and James Clarke
