After struggling with stubborn chin hair for years—tweezing weekly or dermaplaning occasionally – I finally decided to try electrolysis after discussing this with my dermatologist. She informed me that laser would not work on blond/gray hair and recommended Amarillis Stricker. I only wish I had done it sooner. The results have been great. My chin is now smooth and hair-free.
The process takes time. That’s because hair grows in cycles —only the hairs in the active growth phase (anagen) can be permanently treated. When I entered Main Line Electrolysis I was anxious about my hair growth and unsure of whether or not electrolysis was for me or if it would even work. I am a 40 something going through perimenopause, and like many of us, hormones can wreak havoc and the hair growth struggle is real! Amarilis is absolutely amazing!! I have been getting electrolysis done religiously for the last 5 years on areas of my face, using “short wave” with another provider. Due to moving to a new town I wanted to find someone closer and was frankly exhausted from the biweekly clockwork of appointments. I saw online Main Line offered other methods of electrolysis outside of just short wave and decided to go in for a consult and suffice to say, I wish I went sooner!!
