This doctor helped me considerably. I had avoided taking a longer acting steroid to control my asthma because I had developed cataracts in the past when taking it over time. The problem was that my asthma and the accompanying inflammation while off steroids was slowly damaging my lungs further. She helped me by controlling my asthma with the lowest dose possible of the long-acting steroid. Being able to sleep through the night without grabbing for an inhaler has changed my life.
