“I genuinely don’t even know how Georgette does what she does—it’s actually quite absurd.<br><br>I started going to her a little over a year ago with hair that was beyond repair (or so I thought). I had been trying to get black out of my hair, it was orange, red, basically every color it was not supposed to be, and somehow I walked into my FIRST appointment with her wanting to be blonde (thinking it was unachievable), and let me tell you—she straight up achieved it. I was literally shocked. And somehow it has just gotten better and better every single appointment since.<br><br>Fast forward a year and two months and my hair is now basically white… and I wanted hair extensions. Well, my hair is so white blonde that even her own extension swatches didn’t match my hair.<br><br>Which brings me to her most recent act of witchcraft: I bought THREE different sets of extensions online that all claimed to be “white blonde,” and every single one showed up looking like they belonged to Goldilocks. Yellow. Gold. Absolutely not matching my hair whatsoever. I finally brought one of the sets I bought online to Georgette, and this woman somehow BLEACHED AND TONED them to match my hair PERFECTLY.<br><br>At this point I’m convinced I could bring her a bundle of hay and she’d figure out how to make it match my hair.<br><br>She has completely transformed my hair over the last year, and I trust her with it more than I trust myself. She listens to exactly what I want, somehow figures out how to make it happen, and has gotten my hair to a color I genuinely did not think was possible when I first sat in her chair.<br><br>So basically, if you need a hairstylist, GO TO GEORGETTE. Especially if you’re blonde because apparently this woman is a wizard. 100000/10, I will continue letting her perform witchcraft on my head for as long as she allows me to… or gets sick of me.”

Karen is great at natural nails (which is hard to find these days with the gel/dip options) and was very patient with my ingrown toe nails. Even got my eyebrows waxed while I was there since she also offers waxing (face), hair and spray tanning. Karen's spot is so cute and Karen herself is super chill and down to earth. Can't wait to go back again!”

“I haven’t been back to Suntastic in well over a year and a half…It wasn’t due to anything having to do with the salon itself…it was ME! Early last year I began to get a “sore” on my lower part of my leg. I went to a dermatologist to investigate and they thought I had a carcinoma. Turns out it was merely a type of dermatitis. But it scared me enough to stop tanning awhile. I am ready to return! I’ll definitely return to Suntastic Salon. Terry, the owner, is a lovely woman and makes you feel like a “guest” more than a customer! She is knowledgeable and up-to-date on her information about “tanning indoors”. I always had pleasant and amusing conversations with Terry either upon arrival or as I prepared to leave the salon. Prices are competitive and affordable but be prepared, it is definitely NOT CHEAP to “Tan”! Laying outdoors or at the “pool” is surely the cheapest way to go but if you have time restraints or simply are an impatient person, then a tanning salon is THE way to go. AND, if it’s convenient for you, Terry’s SUNTASTIC SALON is surely your BEST BET!”

“Love the staff- Down to earth and always very friendly - both places are always very clean * I use to go to the location by Tarentum Bridge Road but now I go to Lower Burrell *I feel the same about both locations* enjoy the beds as well; I have been to many tanning places and the bulbs/beds are never so great but at these locations I actually receive color and what I pay for * by far my favorite place to tan. As for the bathrooms not being open to the public * leave it up to people to ruin a good thing for us all * certainly sucks as I was always respectful; but I can by far understand why I wouldn't as an owner want people using them if it was for constant disrespect of my property. Sadly the employees are fantastic; but not all clients are from the sound of it. Now she only has one restroom so if someone breaks it then even the people whom work their don't have use...I wouldn't want to risk that myself. I can see how this would deter some people; but I do feel personally that all the other parts of this salon Is worth the minor inconvenience. I have been going here for a few years now and will continue ! Prices here are very fair as well ; affordable and have deals going on occasionally which is great. I really love this place (both of the locations) I was here yesterday and will be there again either today or minyana 💜”
