“We had a very overgrown multi-trunk wild cherry that was in a difficult location on our property boundary. Chad (the owner) was extremely accommodating and timely in meeting with me for a quote. He had done work for many of my neighbors and is a local guy. We were able to quickly agree to the price and shook on it. Two days later, I received the written proposal. The quote was dramatically lower than one I received from another well-respected company. Chad suggested the difference might be equipment, as his crew were climbers and they didn't use lifts or cranes. This was something not even mentioned by the other company.

Two weeks later, his crew spent over 6 hours removing the tree, navigating not only our yard and fence, but also our neighbors, where the chipper truck needed to be parked.They even removed a section of our metal fence for access to the tree. Everything was left in perfect shape afterwards and the cleanup was immaculate. Chad was on-site most if not the whole day. HIGHLY recommend!“

Most of all he is honest, he does not try to hit home runs on jobs he is as fair as they come. I’ve used him for multiple Lanscaping projects,weekly yard service,and a new driveway which turned out perfectly. He also did concrete stairs and walkways for my brother and brother Inlaw with perfection. He is now going to take my pool deck of old concrete and use his vision and skill for a finished stamped concrete deck which I’ve seen his previous jobs on Instagram which are beautiful. After providing payment for the first session, we agreed to a price and schedule for biweekly lawn service for a very reasonable price. Unfortunately, despite multiple calls, texts and voicemails I have not been able to get in touch with anyone from M&D landscaping since (over the past three weeks). I am quite disappointed because I would have preferred to stick with M&D landscaping for my landscaping needs.“

“Philadelphia Garden took our sad little back patio and turned it into a nature retreat. We live in Center City so we didn’t have much room to work with, but Brendan helped us come up with a design that maximized the space. He sent us draft proposals and modified them based on our input. He and his team were very thorough, asking us to send photos of the space at different times of day so they could choose the appropriate plants for that space. To make full use of the space we chose to move the stairs so Brendan connected us with a terrific carpenter (Zach Hedgepeth) who did a great job and coordinated with Brendan to make sure the timing worked out. Once that was done he had his stone mason pull up the ugly brick floor and replace it with beautiful bluestone hardscape. Then his team came in to install the planters and the plants. The whole time they communicated well, keeping us updated on their work and staying in touch with the subs so they knew what was happening. Even now that the patio is done, Brendan has been responsive to my questions in email and offered to replace some plants that didn’t survive the winter. We absolutely love sitting out in our beautiful patio surrounded by lush greenery and seeing how the different plants flower at different times. Brendan and his team were a delight to work with and I highly recommend them.“

“Extreme Landscaping did an outstanding job for Historic St. George's UMC. We brought a unique problem to them: we needed a large archeological excavation site backfilled with dirt in our courtyard. An added challenge was that with HSG having being constructed in 1769, our wrought iron gate would not provide access for even a mini backhoe to be used, it had to be done manually. Dan and Ashley provided excellent communication and follow up with us, promptly getting a rep to visit the site, provided an estimate, scheduled the project within the time frame we needed it accomplished.
