I called “everyone” relevant to 3 separate chimney, fireplace, and masonry jobs, at least until I had a good range of businesses and prices. It rarely happens this way, but Jim Murray's Chimney Service offered not only the most comprehensive work but also at the lowest cost! For example, my other chimney relining job quotes were considerably higher than Jim Murray's Chimney Service, even for the same stainless-steel liner (brand, model, warranty)! Jim Sr. and Jr. only included work that was needed, rather than adding tasks that would just pay them more.
