The Philadelphia Metro Wildlife Center (PMWC) is a dedicated place for the rescue and rehabilitation of injured and orphaned wild animals. They provide immediate assistance and care to animals brought to them, with a focus on eventual release back into their natural habitat. The staff's response and concern are evident in their hands-on approach. PMWC has been described as an amazing place by those who have sought their help. The center's staff are knowledgeable, passionate, and go above and beyond to help animals, including staying late outside of operating hours. Overall, PMWC is a commendable establishment that demonstrates a deep commitment to the welfare of wildlife and the promotion of coexistence between humans and animals. The location may be small, and it can be a bit challenging to turn around and leave, but this is a minor inconvenience. The center is a blessing to all wildlife, and the staff is fantastic, knowledgeable, and friendly. They don't pressure visitors to donate, but many choose to do so to support the center's important work. The center is still old-school in its communication, relying on phone calls and paper forms, but this doesn't detract from the excellent service they provide.
