I mostly go to Ulta Newtown for my make up. Look for Jenna or Autumn, as they are excellent artists for make up application. I also buy some products that they applied on my face. Ulta has a variety of skin care, hair products and hair and make-up services.
Sales staff were friendly, but after reviewing my large purchase at home, I discovered a small item (an eyeliner) was missing from my bag. When I returned a few days later (delayed by snow), the manager was rude, dismissive, and refused to help, citing “store policy”, refusing to help or even listen. I left feeling ripped off and disappointed.
Update: The store’s general manager promptly followed up, investigated the issue, and the item was found and returned. I appreciate the accountability and how the situation was handled, therefore updating my rating.
Always have the best experience at this Ulta location. I am always met with a smile and willingness to assist with any needs. I’ve had a few bad experiences at another local ulta location so I will definitely stick with the newtown location. Their customer service is excellent. Thank you.
