A few years ago she charged $100 for state filing only, then I never even got my refund - I followed up with the state, met with huge headaches trying to get it figured out, turns out she straight-up took my money and never filed. Did the same to my mother, who got a notice in the mail from the IRS about her not filing her taxes. Attempts to follow-up were met with her dodging phone calls and e-mails, or just reassuring “Oh it must be an error on their end, I’ll get it figured out!” and she’d continue dodging contact. Awful experience.

A few years ago I went through them to file my state taxes (my federal I had done on my own but state really screwed with me), they charged me $100 JUST to file state. It was kind of last-minute near the beginning of April, but still. Not only that, the $80 refund I was entitled to never, ever came. I called and asked, she just said to be patient, etc., but I never received it and it was the only year I hadn't. I suspected she didn't even file or filed it incorrectly. My mother also used her services a few years ago, despite my warnings, and the IRS sent her a letter months later about how she hadn't filed. She gave them the receipts, evidence, etc., but the IRS said her taxes were never filed and she would have to pay a penalty. Luckily, she was able to retroactively file an extension and get things worked out with a tax attorney, but whenever she tried to call Jade back to see what was going on, her calls were dodged and never returned. This person is either terrible at their job or scamming somehow. AVOID THIS PLACE!
