Suzie's Cut Above

I have been getting my hair cut and high lighted here for almost 8 years. Suzie is the owner of the salon, and there are a few girls that work there as well. I have never had anyone do my hair other than her, so I can only say that the other ladies in the shop are always friendly and helpful. I can't say enough nice things about this place! I have long hair and to get a trim and highlights is very reasonable. In the past, I have paid almost double to get the same things done. Also, the atmosphere makes you feel like you are at someone's home, not some uppity salon. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes past my scheduled time and have never, in nearly eight year, had her cancel an appointment on me. There are several hair salons closer to me, but I choose to drive here because of the relaxing atmosphere, prices, and the relationship I have with my hairdresser. (Ladies, we all know how important that is!) If I had to nit-pick and say one bad thing about Suzie's is that it is a small business, and therefore sometimes it takes a few weeks to get an appointment. You can't just call up and expect to be seen that week. Also, they are closed on Sundays and Mondays. So, if you are a fan like me, go ahead and schedule your next visit at the end of your appointment.
