We have used Haven Hardwoods on a few occasions to both lay down 3/4 inch Oak Hardwood, with a few difficult cuts involved, and just recently refinishing wood floors that date back to the late 1800s, involving both 5/16 of an inch oak and Pine that were in rough shape. The end result was amazing.

Overall great experience. Floor looks fantastic, really good with communicating, and very reasonable pricing. They took time to explain the process and kept it as tidy as possible along the way. Would absolutely recommend!
Haven hardwoods did a great job. The job was to finish two rooms 24ft by 10ft. The floors are American chestnut and they had never been finished before. The dining room boards were heavily cupped and so presented an even greater challenge.
Haven hardwoods people were very professional.
The arrived on time every morning for the week. They got right to work and worked hard.
Their people understood the type of wood, how to sand and buff it, they used professional equipment that they brought with them.
They also kept the house clean as the two rooms were sealed off by plastic sheets to prevent the dust from getting into the rest of the house.
