I had a tree downed in the 4/29/25 storm. It did not hit the house or my neighbor's so it was not an emergency call. It did land and was entwined into other trees. Davy's got here, 9 AM 5/7/25. They marked their work perimeter quickly so traffic and pedestrians would move effectively. They worked safely and efficiently to remove the downed one and took 4 others as well. The crew cleaned up very nicely and left a good looking site. I thought the price to be very fair. I have been involved in other tree removals recently and this price was totally in line with those others.
I needed a dead tree cut down in our backyard. There is an rock wall near it without mortar and it was in the middle of a garden bed. They were able to schedule a crew within a week, which was really nice, and they took the tree down without touching the rock wall and with far less disruption to the garden bed as we expected. Nicely cleaned up and hauled away everything. Very satisfied.
I contacted Davey because my Hemlocks were suffering from Wooly Adelgid. I met with Todd Sherbondy and we discussed options for treatment. A week later Todd and technician Julie treated my hemlocks and will be back in the fall to fertilize them. Todd was very knowledgeable and I've enjoyed meeting and working with him.
