The Natural Lands' Green Hills Preserve offers a diverse and scenic walking experience. The well-marked trails wind through wooded areas, fields, and creeks, providing opportunities to spot wildlife such as birds, bees, and even a groundhog. The site was previously slated for housing development, but the preservation of the land has resulted in a great place for visitors to enjoy the outdoors, with both field and wooded trails that are well-maintained. The preserve is a lovely destination for hikers, especially those with dogs, with plenty of great views along the way.
Nice, quiet place to hike. Well-marked trails. Lots of grass so don’t wear mesh sneakers, your feet will get soaked!
I like the new green trail extension!
Unfortunately, entitled, selfish couples driving small SUVs still let their dogs crap all over the paths, and don’t clean it up, so watch your step!
I liked the trails at the Natural Lands' Green Hills Preserve. They were very well marked just like all of the other Natural Lands' Preserves that I've visited. One of the signs stated that, in the past, this site was going to be developed for housing. I could see why with all of the scenic views of the surrounding area at the site. I'm glad it wasn't developed. It was a great place to visit!
Absolutely diverse walk. Wooded areas, fields, creeks, wildflowers and critters. Mostly birds and bees and a groundhog sighting. We will go again and I recommend that you take a walk here.
