The Attic is a great store. I first visited January 2024, again, today. Both times, my party has been impressed with the depth of their library of titles. The quality of vinyl, stellar. The prices, extremely fair. I appreciated the knowledge of the gentleman at the counter this morning, was able to give me fair prices and knew a lot about the product he was selling. If I were to recommend the best record stores between Pittsburgh and Indianapolis, I would put this store in my top 5 with Used Kids Columbus, Shake It Cincinnati, The Attic Pittsburgh, Haskins House Portsmouth, and Luna Music Indianapolis. I don’t know of a higher compliment.

Absolutely love this place. My partner and I come here for vinyls of our favorite singers, soundtracks and bands. If they don't have what you are looking for, they will be more than happy to look it up and see if they are able to order it for you.

What can I even say? My favorite record back in Louisville has hundreds of records. Coming here, I wasn’t expecting to walk into thousands and thousands upon thousands of records. I went straight for something I hadn’t been able to find for months, and they didn’t have it. An employee seen me looking, asked if he could help, and I told him what I was looking for. He said “someone bought that yesterday, but let me check the warehouse” and he came straight back to me with it. The employees are knowledgeable of music, very helpful and friendly. I’m not from here, but I would return to this city just for this record store.
