I was scheduled for surgery on my right big toe because of severe pain and numbness which restricted my mobility. While I awaited my surgery date, I decided to go to the Hetrick Center in Middletown for aquatic therapy to help alleviate secondary pain in my knee, hip, and lower back caused by limping. After three weeks of aquatic therapy, I noticed the pain and numbness in my toe started to subside along with the pain in my knee, hip, and lower back. I then started seeing a chiropractor at the Hetrick Center to determine the true cause of my pain which turned out not to be the toe! I'm happy to say I was able to cancel the surgery and I'm almost completely pain free!...read full review

Dr. Michael O’Donovan was exceptional. I had never seen a Chiropractor before but after several rounds of PT and not much improvement, I decided to give it a chance.He listened as I explained all of my issues with my hip and lower back. He had a plan in place immediately. He was confident that he could help but did state that if we did not see improvement it was his goal to find me someone who could. Each visit we would go over how I was feeling and he would adjust our plan as needed. He did suggest therapeutic massage and PT. Called and booked a massage within 24 hours of finding this place on google. It was a great experience. Very friendly and helpful staff. I had Anthony who was an absolute professional. You could tell he takes pride in what he does. Probably the best massage of my life. Will definitely be back!
