“I got a pedicure and a Gelx set. Mike was sooo nice and very comforting. I don’t get my nails done often but Mike made sure I knew I could ask questions every step of the way. As soon as I got there he was already prepped for me to come in and start relaxing. I was looking for a specific blue and he was very helpful in getting me to the perfect color. I have never gotten GelX before so he made sure to walk me through it step by step and make sure I was comfortable! I would recommend him to everyone and I will definitely be back again!“

They had a nice selection of gel colors and she was able to do exactly what I had hoped for. I liked how she didn't go overboard with trimming the cuticles, I had stopped years ago after finding manicures just too painful but Sammi was gentle and did a fantastic job! “I have been going to Mrs. Ken for 10 years. I’ve also gotten waxed all over the country on business trips. Absolutely no one in the US compares to Mrs. Ken.She always goes above and beyond to fit me into her schedule and takes great care to make the waxes as painless as possible. The waxes are so relaxing that one time I almost fell asleep on the table. If you want to talk, she’ll talk; if you need to rest, she’ll let you rest. Mrs. Ken is kind, upbeat, and funny, and she has an inspiring story.She’s given me waxes before some of the most important days of my life and she is the only one I’d trust to do a thorough job. Any area she has waxed is immaculate and I never have ingrown hairs after seeing her. My skin is soothed and free of bumps. Mrs. Ken chooses hard wax for the sensitive areas and gets her waxes from France. She never double dips, either; she uses both sides of the wax stick to prevent wastefulness because she cares about the environment. Her salon is very clean and private and feels like a safe space. There is accessible and easy parking, too.Mrs. Ken is honest and her prices are reasonable. I always feel beautiful and like a new woman after seeing her. If you’re lucky enough to be her client, you’ll never want to get a wax anywhere else.“

“Naturale is the best nail salon I’ve been to in Philly. It’s clean, it’s clear that they sterilize tools, and everyone who’s done my nails there (gels on natural nails) has taken pride in doing an excellent job. The manicures last a long time because they’re careful to use thin coats and precision to avoid the polish sticking to the surrounding skin. Yesterday Dary did my nails and carefully examined each nail to make sure it was properly shaped and in good condition before and after applying polish. In the ~5 times I’ve been there I’ve never had an issue with the polish peeling before I come back to have it removed in 2 weeks.“

“I highly recommend booking an appointment for your nails here. I showed Vyvy one photo of what I wanted, and she nailed it! I was thinking a lighter shade of pink, and then she suggested a darker pink, and I’m so glad that I trusted her completely. Tip: Add about 20-30 minutes of free time to the time that you set aside for your appointment just in case there are other customers or if it’s busy—it was a better experience for me that I wasn’t in a rush to get in and out because I gave myself extra time. I’ll definitely be going again!“

I have been to 4 different technicians here but shout out to Macara for her long lasting gel manis. I often go 20 days between appointments with her. The atmosphere is quiet, calm, clean and friendly. Also, they do not use drills here if that is important to you.“
