I had always been interested in learning swordsmanship. My nephew was looking for an activity to do after school and wanted to study it as well. We both signed up as well as my wife, Laura Robbins. We have been training for a little over 4 months and I can’t say enough good things about this dojo. The instructors here are amazing. They will challenge you both mentally and physically but, will also provide you with tons of support and encouragement. I have learned so much in such a short time, and I’m eagerly looking forward to learning much, much more. This is truly an amazing place to learn the art of swordsmanship. I consider myself fortunate to be able to train here.

I’ve been training in iaidō at Itten Dōjō for a little over 4 months now. As a woman with no previous martial arts experience, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect when I first joined. From the beginning the environment was welcoming and I felt a sense of belonging in the dōjō. Training is both challenging and fun and I’m excited to see my progression as I learn from a group of amazing members and instructors.

After approximately three months in this school and I am absolutely in love with this art form. it is grace, power, balance, and intelligence. The group learning Kenjutsu together is outstanding.
