My son needed to have a couple of pocket trumpets that needed small repairs. He heard of Seacat from a musician friend. It’s a bare bones business that concentrates efforts on the actual repair of instruments. The owner is obviously passionate about what he does and his prices are reasonable. $25 for two little repairs. He was knowledgeable and polite. No frills.

Here's the thing, I don't need instruments fixed often, which is a good thing, but when I do I want to know I'm going to a place that is knowledgeable and helpful. We've had nothing but great experiences at Seacat. Repairs are thorough but reasonable. I was ready to just buy a new case but the owner proposed repairing it instead of spending more money replacing it and I appreciate that kind of honest, helpful information.

Curtis is a true professional. He has serviced my tuba(s) for over 10 years now and the work is always completed on time and done correctly. I was referred by a fellow musician after a not so good experience with another repair shop. I would suggest a call before dropping by.
