Harrisburg Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Judo, L.L.C. is a highly recommended gym with a friendly environment. They offer a kids Judo program that helps children develop confidence and strength. The gym has a large, clean space and provides excellent instruction. Both children and adults can participate in classes, as there are many class times available. Out-of-town visitors are welcomed to drop in for a class.

Dropped in during a work trip near Harrisburg. I was immediately met with such great hospitality. Walking into a new gym for the first time can be, at times, be a little overwhelming. I was welcomed like I was family.

The gym has incredible mat space and had a ton of talented grapplers on the mats. The atmosphere from the start was relaxed with the expectation that everyone works hard.

I will certainly be back any time I am in town in the future!

Harrisburg BJJ is a solid, down-to-earth place to train whether you’re a beginner or have some experience. The atmosphere is consistently welcoming, and the instructors do a good job of making everyone feel comfortable on the mats regardless of their fitness level. It’s a family-friendly environment that focuses on technical progress and mutual respect rather than ego. If you’re looking for a practical, community-focused gym to learn at your own pace, it’s a great choice.

Out-of-Town Review: Packed mats with all levels from white to black, detailed instruction, and plenty of live rolls each class. Very welcoming—definitely a must-stop drop-in if you’re in the area.
