Definition of a client: a client refers to a person who purchases professional services from a business.Last year Jean took on my husband and I as a client and we paid for her services in correcting or amending our taxes from 2020 which helped us reduce the amount the IRS said we owed. We are grateful for this service and wanted her to file our taxes this year, however it came as a shock to us when I get a call to come and get all the info I left with her cause Jean is not taking new clients. I tried twice to have them explain to me how I’m a ‘new’ client but offered no ‘reasonable’ explanation.
