About Scrappy's Auto Service

Scrappy's Auto Service is a reliable and customer-focused auto repair shop that has been serving the community for over 25 years. Customers consistently praise the exceptional service they receive, from prompt towing and on-site repairs to the high-quality workmanship on body and trim jobs. The business has a reputation for going above and beyond, as evidenced by a customer who was stranded on the highway at 2:30 AM and was able to sleep on the premises while their car was fixed the next day at an unbelievable price, with the added bonus of complimentary coffee. Scrappy's also demonstrates a personal touch, as they were able to provide a customer with a special gift - a t-shirt and hat - to help reconnect them with memories of their father's time working at the shop during the 1970s. The customer was deeply appreciative of this thoughtful gesture. Overall, Scrappy's Auto Service is a trusted and reliable choice for a wide range of automotive services, from body and trim work to towing and repair. Customers consistently praise the shop's exceptional service, competitive pricing, and the personal touch that sets it apart from the competition.

Scrappy’s is one of the very few places in Lower Bucks County that does wheel well repairs. For this, I mean cutting out the rusted area of the wheel well; replacing it with metal. Most places won’t do this type of repair. I got a great price for them to do mine.

This review is about Scrappy’s using their heart just as much as their mechanical acumen! I inquired about getting a shirt for my dad who turns 82 this month. He spent several years working at Scrappy’s during the 70’s and for me, it brings about memories. Scrappy’s sent me a tee and hat and I said I would post something when he got it. He has received his gift and absolutely loves it. It brought him and I so many memories back. He said he and Eugene Huber (spelling??) “Reds” (who was 4 years older) and he worked side by side taking care of the Eastern half of the turnpike. He would sleep at his house and travel out in blizzards to pull wrecks, climb in all the mud and slush to unfreeze brakes to get the wreck moved. He also mentioned a Gary. I remember the holding lot for repos held by USG. My Dad and I had a great talk today. Thank you for helping us to connect over memories and the miles. Maybe someone from my Dads past still has connections there? I’d love to pass on some more information! Thank you!
