We had our mudroom/laundry room/powder room remodeled including removing a former closet structure to open the space and replacing a very old side door and storm door. There were a lot of choices, detail, and moving parts even though it was a small space. Having a team behind the whole process--not just a contractor--made a big difference in how smoothly it all went. Each day we were able to see the progress in person and read about it on the website/app. It presented a clear schedule and pictures and a daily log were uploaded to it each day. We had a custom wood bench and floating shelves made from ash trees from our own property. Ryann Reed has a relationship with the passionate wood workers at Redirected Wood, who did amazing work. Jason, our lead carpenter, worked around that custom wood beautifully to tie in wainscoting and cabinetry. Any challenge the space gave Jason, he problem solved on-site and made beautiful work out of it. If you are a busy family trying to make your home nicer or a space work better, having a design team like Ryann Reed take care of the details for you will make remodeling possible. Taking on this job felt daunting, because we have two children and we both work at home, but it only took a little over a week and there was so little stress on our family during the process. The final product is so much more useful and such a beautiful entry to our home. The professional/staged pictures taken at the end made the space a joy to share with family and friends who hadn't seen it yet. We highly recommend Ryann Reed.
