“I visited Lucky 13 back in November (it’s April 2025 now), and I’m just thinking to write this review now because of what a great experience I had here.

I had my belly button piercing done here by Mare. Now, listen—when it comes to piercings, I am not experienced at all. I mean, the only piercings I’d had anywhere on my body were my single earlobe piercings, and those were done when I was a baby (I’m 21 now)! So you bet your biscuits I was nervous.

Mare made me feel super comfortable. They had a super calming energy and were clearly very experienced, attentive, analytical, and careful. Mare gave me the jewelry (floating navel ring) that, regarding my anatomy, would be least irritating to start out with and best overall for my healing process. ❤️‍? Your piercer is for sure an important aspect to your experience, and Mare just totally nailed it. I felt super relaxed as they talked me through the process. My navel piercing was done painlessly and efficiently.

Now that I’m all healed, I have swapped out the jewelry for something more to my liking (see pics). It’s been five months now, and the piercing has healed perfectly with no complications whatsoever (first photo is from when it was first pierced; second is from now, at the time of writing this review). I would recommend Mare (and this establishment in general) to anyone hoping for experienced and knowledgeable piercers as well as great professionalism!

P.S., I should add that I came in with my four friends, all of whom each got an ear piercing of some sort done by another piercer, Brandon, who is also absolutely fantastic!
