Almost a month ago I took my chicken here because she was showing signs of being egg bound yet it turned out she didn't have an egg. They had to extract fluid for her stomach and put her on some medications. A month later and she's doing great!! This place is 60 miles away from me (I live in Berwick, PA) yet it is the only vet I could find that cares for chickens and could get me in for an appointment same day. I thought their prices were reasonable (for me to drive 60 miles and get me in the same day, they had free reign to charge me whatever they wanted yet the bill was less than expected!) and without their care I believe she wouldn't have lasted much longer as she...read full review

AMAZING team! The entire staff is so friendly, knowledgeable, and beyond helpful. They truly love and care for all the animals, whether they have fur or scales or feathers. Definitely worth the 30-min drive for us!!! I initially found them because my exotic vet moved and recommended Kutztown Animal Hospital for my beardie. He's a grump and doesn't like anyone, but loves Dr. McMahon – she truly has a way with animals! Fellow reptile owners will know it's very difficult to find a good herp vet that stays up-to-date on husbandry, lighting, etc., but Dr. McMahon and her team are so knowledgeable! I just started taking my fur kids back here after not coming here for quite a few years; I wish I would have kept bringing them here instead of changing vets all those years ago.I have no regrets coming back at all.Dr. McMahon and the staff are awesome!
