I had a bad fall and broke my neck and my back. I spent months in a neck brace and body cast. When I got the cast off, I was sent to PT for months. I still had terrible neck pain, chronic headaches and searing low back pain. My Orthopedist told me I was just going to have to live with it. I was miserable. I then was referred to Dr Conway and I will admit, I was very skeptical he could do anything to help me. I WAS WRONG! After my first treatment my headaches were gone, and I had less pain in my back. In a short period of time, he restored the mobility to my neck and resolved most of my low back pain. He did all of this without ever adjusting me. He has a program of treatment in his office that was not offered to me while I was being treated by Jefferson and the University of Pennsylvania. I thank God every day for Mal Conway.
I started at the Conway Clinic for shoulder pain that was resolved in about 4 visits (amazing) and told them I had broken my foot months ago and it still hurts to even walk or wear normal shoes. As a very active person, it crushed me not being able to run or do any type of physical activity without pain, but I chose to do it anyway. Dr. Conway asked if he could try and fix my foot and I said sure, because it couldn't get any worse! About two months later, I am cleared from treatment, wearing sneakers again AND running without pain; which I thought I would never be able to do. The amount of determination to fix my foot was unreal. If one treatment plan didn't work, we tried another until it was fixed. As an athlete, coach and health and physical education teacher, I cannot say enough positive things about these two amazing doctors (and Mary). They go above and beyond to take care of you and make you feel right at home. I found a forever home for my athletes and I, where I know we are in good hands!
Today was my first visit with Dr. Conway and I can say, I drove more than 3 hours to visit with this doctor. I don't know it for sure, but while Dr. Conway has been in practice for years, it would be my bet that most of the local area still doesn't know what a hidden gem they have as a chiropractor right in their backyard. He is a master at what he does, took time to listen to my concerns and come up with a treatment plan that while my particular service is not covered by insurance is both necessary and I will work around to afford it.
