While the wait times can be long, especially on weekends when illnesses are prevalent, patients appreciate the care they receive at CHOP Urgent Care in King of Prussia.
Worst experience, took three hours to see the doctor and after that they sent us to the ER since they were about to close . There we waited another 9 hours and went through all the process which we already done in urgent care even though it was in the same hospital ER. The ER doctor was very nice and he apologized for the issues created by the rude urgent care doctor.
Wife went in at 630pm with our two sons that are 10 and 5. One needs stitches in his hand and the other with possible glass in his eyes. It is 130am and still NOTHING done. What a friggen joke.
You are better off taking your child to any other urgent care in the area. The clerical staff make so many errors that follow up care and appointments are almost impossible. Miscommunications and notes entered incorrectly into medical charts are preventing kids from getting the treatments they need. It should not be on a family needing help to understand the intricacies of their EMR systems in order to make sure that follow up visits and instructions are accurately communicated.Nemours, PM pediatrics, and other urgent care centers in the area do not have these issues.
