I had to run to the reviews immediately after my son received the best care today from Dr. Hajel and the Somerset Dental team. We arrived at UPMC Somerset for his scheduled time to have fillings/caps and from the time we got there until the time we left, we received amazing care. Everyone was kind, thoughtful and took the best care of my son. Dr. Hajel was informative as well as his assistant, Allison who made sure we were updated throughout the entire procedure; with updates in his plan of care and made sure we knew everything/got our consent before it was performed. My son’s teeth look great; Dr. Hajel did a fantastic job and I know my son was treated with so much love and compassion during his procedure. So thankful we chose Somerset Dental and Dr Hajel for his care. I also want to add that when we arrived to the hospital, there was a cute little quilted bear that he received in pre-op, it had ripped in a spot and some stuffing was coming out- we didn’t mention it to anyone. When he returned to the recovery room we had noticed that someone had stitched the hole in the bear which was a super sweet gesture. We later found out it was the assistant Allison- it was a small act of kindness, but it was so thoughtful and that small gesture really shows how great this group of people are.
Today was my 21 month olds first dental visit ever. The dentist and staff were absolutely wonderful! I was so nervous how things were going to go as toddlers can be a handful but they by far exceeded my expectations. I work at a pediatricians office and definitely understand why patients recommend them. My little guy left with a big smile and a green rubber ducky. 😊 Thank you so much Somerset Dental in Johnstown, you all are wonderful!
