Max is always so kind and is amazing with his workmanship! He talks to everyone like they are family, so you might wait a few minutes for him! But worth the wait! He knows his shoe repairs!

Highly recommend! Max fixed the broken rubber sole on my Thursdays and added a more supportive wood block to the heel. He only charged me $30 and the boots were done in less than 2 weeks! He even added a shoe polish. They were in bad shape before (I wish I had a before photo) but he made them look like new.
Max is a true craftsperson - I talked to him quite a bit, and he really knows his stuff and is very knowledgable about materials and brands. You really don't see shops like this any more - Max is a Johnstown treasure.

He is a one man show but you can't beat quality work. Wife had two pairs of woman's old fashion boots get sole & she loves them. Recommend Max's for your boots & shoe needs.
