2 different family members referred us to Johnstown Veterinary Associates less that 6 months ago, in search of a second opinion for our dog Coco. Similary to the first diagnosis, we learned she was terminally ill. Over the course of a short few months, the team at Johnstown Veterinary Associates, answered our every call. The treated Coco like she was their pet, saw her, and, got her meds asap, each time a new issue arose. On Friday night, 7/17, she took a turn for the worse. Johnstown Veterinary treated us like family, welcoming us with open arms when our beloved Great Dane needed to cross over the rainbow bridge. Jack Jack was so loved and JVA made sure that we were able to love him properly at the end when it was his time to go.

The kindness and compassion that they showed us will never be forgotten. The entire staff is amazing. Grateful is an understatement.

We've been going to Johnstown Vet with our four cats since 2023 after very poor service from another local vet/clinic. From day one, I have never felt better about my kids care. Each staff member truly cares and helps each step of the way. You can truly tell they all get along as well because you just get a good vibe when you're there. Personally, we see Dr Claycomb who is a gem of a person and recently told us that we truly honored our cat by making the decision to let her go before she suffered.
