The place has a lot of empty retail stores, but there are a lot of local people trying to turn this place around and get it busy again.But again, if you are looking for a great mall with a lot of different choices. This isn't your place.

I haven't been to the actual JC Penney store in the Johnstown Galleria for years. I have purchased many things online because they have good quality items at good prices. Today I went to their physical store to pick up a small online order. Penney's is VERY nice inside. The employee told me they had recently done some updates, and they have plenty of customers! There were a good number of shoppers in the store. The employees were friendly and helpful.

Kinda went up there last minute. (And I mean like last minute) everything was pretty easy to find, instead of being rushed out of the store when we asked her for some assistance, she answered our questions nicely. She made sure we didn't need any other help, and proceeded too continue whatever task she was on. The lady at the desk also made sure we were satisfied as well and was extremely polite. When leaving they unlocked the doors without pause instead of making us walk out the main part of the mall, and the lady held the doors for my daughter, fiance, and myself. Great customer service guys keep it up!
